From a Farmers Market to South Congress

Sweet Crumb started at the SFC Farmers Market in 2014, when founder Maria Reyes began selling sourdough loaves from her home kitchen. What began as a weekend passion project turned into a full-time obsession and, eventually, a beloved bakery on South Congress Avenue.

Today our team of eight bakers arrives before sunrise to hand-shape croissants, proof our signature sourdoughs, and decorate custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, and everything in between. Every recipe is made from scratch using locally milled flour and seasonal Texas produce.
